Kim & Marion’s Vestal & Engagement Portraits
When Kim and I started planning for her engagement portrait session, I loved that she came with so many ideas and was so into collaborating with me! We exchanged texts on locations, inspirations, and outfit ideas. When we finally arrived on the day I was so excited to put into action all of the care we had put in before. Vestal, in downtown Lafayette, is such a beautiful space and was the perfect place to get those cool bar vibes we were shooting for! And then, we headed down to Avery Island to get a softer, more romantic feeling among the Louisiana landscapes. I love that we were able to get so many vignettes, vibes, and feelings into one portrait session. What might not be apparent in these portraits is that this ended up being one of the hottest days of the year, but these two were such troopers in holding out and still having a great time. Kim is continuing to bring this level of detailed planning into the wedding day, and I know it’s going to be so amazing!!
