Katie’s Academy of Sacred Heart Bridals
Katie is an alumnus of the Academy of Sacred Heart in Houston and the headmaster of our local Grand Coteau campus welcomed us with open arms! The row of oaks is one of the most stunning places I’ve seen and I felt incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to shoot here.

Abigail & Connor: A Grand Opera House Wedding
Abigail & Connor: A Grand Opera House Wedding Abigail & Connor are such a sweet couple! It was an honor to capture their big day. I loved going through the process with them. They had so much chemistry for their engagement session and you can see Abi’s bridals here.Katie, my second shooter, was a huge help on this day. In fact, we had an all star team for this wedding! Abigail’s Maison Mouton Bridals
Maison Mouton is a hidden gem in upper Lafayette and was a charming setting for Abi’s bridal session. Abi really let me play for this session. We had a lot of time and we got to play around with light and her veil and we had such a good time together. Abi found her unique dress at A’Nets Bridal Boutique and Flowers by Rodney made her beautiful bouquet. SOHO house did an amazing job with Abi’s hair and makeup. Hannah from Southern Couture Weddings put together all the logistics for this shoot! Keep an eye out for Abi & Connor’s wedding!

Sean & Rebecca: A Downtown Lafayette Wedding
Sean & Rebecca took a looked at a typical wedding timeline and threw a wrecking ball through it and I loved every second of it. They gave me so much time to take portraits as we ran all around downtown and they did a sparkler entrance instead of an exit! They really structured their day around what was most important to them and I know everyone had so much more fun because they were willing to think outside the box. I’m stealing all their ideas for timelines going forward. They also put such a unique spin on their wedding style. I was so grateful to be able to capture this special day!Prep Space: Buchanan LoftsReception Space: Warehouse 535Flowers: Root Floral DesignCake: Gambino’s LafayetteHair & Makeup: The Beauty ShopWedding Gown: Blush Bridal

Whitney & Brit: A New Orleans Elopement
Whitney & Brit: A New Orleans Elopement I was honored to be a part of Whitney & Brit’s Elopement at the Grand Victorian in New Orleans. It was so small and intimate I got to be one of the witnesses on the marriage certificate! At first we were a little disappointed that it was such a rainy day but it actually made the whole things feel more romantic. You could hear a slow drum of the drops as they said their vows and I might have teared up a little myself. I love that these two stuck to their original anniversary date and ran away and got married even though it was a Monday!

Whitney & Brit: A Lafayette Engagement
As a dog mom myself, you will make my entire week if you bring along your fur babies for your photo session. Nothing makes me happier. Whitney & Brit are such an amazing couple and I loved that I got to take photograph them for their wedding journey. Dog moms for the win.
