Y’all, Mia drove all the way from Houma to Lafayette for her Acadian Village senior photos, and let me tell you – it was so worth it! This girl showed up in the cutest pink cowgirl boots, and I knew right away we were going to have fun with this session.

If you’ve never been to Acadian Village, you’re missing out. It’s got all these old wooden buildings and walkways that make for the best backgrounds. We wandered around finding all the good spots – from the beautiful porches to this little lake adorned with cypress trees that we both loved. The whole place just screams Louisiana, you know?

What I loved most about Mia’s session was how she and her mom put so much thought into getting the aesthetic just right. From being willing to travel to the inclusion of her pink boots! Chef’s kiss. They popped against all that weathered wood and made every shot just perfectly rustic, exactly like Mia was going for!
