Olivia & Cade: UL Alumni House Engagement Portraits
I had the pleasure of working with Olivia & Cade for their UL Alumni House engagement portraits. This spot was the perfect choice to capture their engagement portraits. The UL Alumni House has such a timeless vibe β from the architecture to the open green spaces. I let Olivia know that I had a bunch of new ideas I wanted to try out, and they agreed to let me play and explore some new techniques, which I appreciated! I could tell these two were the best of friends and I loved how much Cade could make Olivia laugh!
What Makes This Location Special
The UL Alumni House has become one of my favorite spots for engagement portraits, and once you see it, you’ll understand why. We can capture so many different looks in one location. That big green iron gate at the corner of the property frames portraits beautifully and immediately tells the story of where you are. And there’s something about a bridge that just works for engagement portraits – maybe it’s the symbolism of crossing into a new chapter together. For UL Alumni House engagement portraits, that bridge is absolutely iconic.

“Hannah was so amazing to work with. During our session, she was so calm, kind, patient, yet focused. Working with Hannah, you can really feel how experienced she is. Although a cloudy day, she strategically picked out beautiful spots for our pictures. She also helped us pose in the most natural ways. Hannah communicated so clearly with us from the beginning, even giving us updates as she was editing. We could not have asked for a better experience or portraits. We will cherish these forever!”
