It’s always great to get out of your comfort zone and try new things. This shoot gave me an opportunity to explore and play with some different¬†looks.
Brother Jac is an amazing band that plays in the Acadiana area. If you are ever in the mood for some good ol’ fashion rock and blues look these guys up! You won’t be disappointed. They are also¬†in the process of recording a new album, Mother Tree. Look for it when it comes out.

I was so happy that my friend Lindsey asked me to photograph her son’s birthday party. It had so many amazing details! Lindsey did a fantastic job planning it and I wasn’t surprised when it was accepted to be feature on On to Baby. For more images check out their feature!

This is going to be a long blog post because it has been a year in the making. It was so bittersweet photographing Adilyn’s one year session since she was a complete joy to work with since her newborn session. She is such a beautiful little girl and I had a great time watching her grow over this past year. In fact I caught a few of Adilyn’s first steps during her one year session. A big thanks to her mom Sara for trusting me with these special memories.

I was so honored to be able to photograph this unique outdoor wedding at famous Dockside Studio. The grounds are beautiful and it was so lovely to be able to have the ceremony right on the Vermilion River. There were so many details that I loved about this wedding but as always my favorite part was the people that gathered. This was such a fun group of people to photograph. I wish Heather & Jacob a lifetime of happiness. Thank you so much for trusting me with your big day.

I loved this session that doubled up as a maternity for Mallory and two year old pics for Lillian. I wanted to share these on Mother’s Day because I hope that this session captured a little bit of the beauty that comes with tea parties and tucking hair behind ears. I have such a strong respect for mothers and all that they do. Enjoy!
