We are so lucky to live near such a beautiful property like Jungle Gardens on Avery Island. As most know, one of the highlights of Jungle Gardens is the bridge. From the moment I saw Sabra’s dress I knew that it was made the be draped over the famous bridge. Her dress had so much movement and life to it. It fit Sabra’s personality perfectly!
Wow! Simone’s wedding dress was a showstopper. From the beautifully long train to the slight hint of blush that peeked out from under the lace, this dress was remarkable. I couldn’t have imagined a better setting then the Grand Opera House of the South to take her bridals. Especially since this past weekend they threw an amazing reception there to celebrate their wedding. Look for that wedding to be hitting the blog soon!
It was such a privilege to go onto Hannah’s family’s private property right here in Milton, La. The scenery was stunning and super inspiring! We then we headed to downtown Abbeville and took advantage of all the streets being blocked off for an event. I wish Hannah all the luck in her future plans!
I had such a good time for Chelsea & Andrew’s wedding! I loved Chelsea’s vision for her fall wedding. Who doesn’t love a good white pumpkin? They had such an intimate ceremony, that was officiated (by surprise) by Andrew’s mom! The happy couple also had an amazing group of friends who never let the party die down.
Do you remember the big 100 year flood we had? Well it really threw this sweet couple for a loop when it happened on their wedding day. They couldn’t have had a better attitude about it! They got married the next afternoon and threw a huge party later. Who gets to have two wedding days? I had such an amazing time working with these two! I couldn’t ask for better clients. Since we all know rain is considered lucky on your wedding day these two have enough luck to last at least 100 years.
I once again failed in blogging everything I wanted to get to this year but I really will try harder next year. I still love to look back and see what got the most hits. I’m only going to do the top 7 this year as motivation to blog more in the future. Enjoy!
I was so honored to be able to photograph this beautiful fall wedding at the always amazing Acadian Village. It was a little chilly as the first cold front of the year came through at the outdoor reception but it just gave everyone a great excuse to get up and dance. The whole day such a mix of fun and emotion and I was so happy I could be a part of it.
